Well, I heard a wild assed rumor the other day. They may ACTUALLY be looking at a multi-bin enhancement to JO.... Yes, be still my heart. But then we have heard rumors in the past about how Sage was going to improve the Sage 100 line.....

Gone are the days of only one big initiative per year or two. Yes, multi-bin is definitely a high priority. At the same time we also may see a rewrite of scheduling, including full framework.

This story appears to have gotten a little more interesting. According to this press release of 5-9-14 , Sage partners Baesis and RKL are both partnering with Anania on the Synergistic acquisition. I have no idea to what level. Since VARS typically are cash poor I suspect they are lending some type of technical expertise though the press release does not give much detail on what that might be. Baesis Purchases Interest in Software Firm Northborough Firm Acquires Stake in JobOps Software. Northborough, MA, May 09, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Baesis Inc announced today it has acquired a stake in Synergistic Software Solutions. Synergistic is the software development firm behind JobOpsJob Management Software. Synergistic Software Solutions has seven employees and is based out of Edina, Minnesota. Anania & Associates Investment Co (""AAI"") partnered with two leading Sage 100 resellers, Baesis Inc and RKL Solutions, to acquire Synergistic Software Solutions. AAI has extensive experience in operating seven different manufacturing companies. AAI has partnered with Baesis to provide insight into the development and promotion of JobOps software. Baesis' Pat Anson, the nation's premier JobOps consultant, has many years of experience implementing JobOps in manufacturing firms like the one's AAI owns. Peter Anania, President and Founder of Anania & Associates Investment Co, had this to say about the acquisition ""AAI owns eight other companies seven of which are manufacturers. This understanding of manufacturing and access to feedback direct from the manufacturing floor makes for a great synergy, sharing of resources, and understanding between AAI and Synergistic."" JobOps is a comprehensive software solution that integrates with the award winning Sage 100 ERP system. JobOps gives users the power to have precise activity based costing information in real time and at their fingertips. The software also reduces sales, general and administrative expenses by reducing redundancies by linking together sales, accounting and production. Frank Leonard, President of Baesis Inc, said, ""By partnering with AAI and RKL on the Synergistic acquisition, Baesis now has the opportunity to better serve its manufacturing base in New England."" About Baesis, Inc. Baesis is a value added reseller (VAR) of a full line of leading-edge technology products and services for the small to medium size manufacturers, enabling them to build more efficient business models, maximize their technology investments and eliminate the confusion of working with multiple service providers. I did send an e-mail to Ryan Rick asking if there's another certification level I missed to become a Premier JobOps Consultant or if there's only one of those.

John, I think ""Premier"" means travels the most miles, and complains the least (about JO)...(not my Press Release, I don't need the attention!)
