Thanks Robert. I'm assuming he is good to go with membership. I believe he needs to purchase the $750 regular ticket. It is available on the MOTM website

Unless he has become a paid member, wouldn't he be at the $900 non-member rate?

He applied. Jeff sent him an invoice. Somewhere along the line someone decided to bless it pending his payment so he wouldn't miss the rate jump cut off.

Next year, maybe we should have a 90 Minds membership + MotM ticket option.

I want us to have an option for new members and new vendor members who can both pay for MOTM and join at the same time. We need some type of review process - wonder if Eventbrite lets you hold orders for review before charging.

Yep, I blessed it. Said he put the payment in the mail so I sent him the link and PW to register for MOTM. I tend to trust people when they say they sent the check. If they lie about it, I will cut them off at the knees or possibly higher. Need a clear policy so that we don't have to screw with this one off stuff...... Until something else comes up that we haven't thought of. Live and Learn.

I'm not really sure this is so much an exception as just fast tracking him through a bit. We have the option for a while yet to cancel his registration. He called me yesterday. I guess he does a lot of work for MicroAccounting/xkZero and for DM2.

Fast tracking was my intent with providing him with the MOTM information. Based on the conversations and background checks, he is qualified under the yet to be approved membership qualifications. We probably have a couple long time members who aren't affiliated with resellers and aren't CC's, so changes are appropriate.
