@JeffSchwenk and @RobertWood Reviewing the Membership App on our 90minds site and notice the following - can we reword this a bit? I don't want the membership drive to get a 50% discount since it is after April but before November 1 - I recall Jeff said we could comp a month or two to the new member: __If you enter AFTER April you will pay 1/2 the current member fee. If you enter prior to April you pay the full member fee for the year. There is NO other pro-ration._ _Membership is on a fiscal year - from November 1, to October 31. The payment is recurring and due no later than each November 1. Late payment will indicate that your firm wishes to be removed from the group and all logins will be deactivated.__

I guess I have been around for so long that what is there now makes complete sense. In the past, if you joined during Summit (late July), your full year payment was worth 15 months or so.

What do you recommend @JeffSchwenk ?

I don't see a problem. If they want a 50% discount, they can join for three months. If they aren't smart enough to understand that, then do we really want them in the group? The 15 month membership is totally unofficial.

At Summit or after was 15 months. Realistically, by the time they get through the process it will likely be September or even October before they get added. We probably need to revise it to say that from September 1 on, it's at the full year through the following fiscal year and they get the first couple of months as a bonus.

A potential problem I see with that is that they will look at it in July and see that if they wait till September, they can get a couple extra months. So they wait. Make it August 1, they will wait. They do the same in March waiting for April 1st to get the half price. We could just leave it alone and make it part of the membership drive benefits for joining during the contest time frame.

We are updating the form for the membership drive, necessary to be able to track the referrals and award points. After the membership drive ends, we can revert to the old one or we can create/update a form that is in alignment with the May Summit dates.
