I've search to no avail. Client is complaining loudly that it takes forever to get paperless journals to appear on screen. I tested from the terminal server and a two line JE took 8 full seconds to pop up. They say it takes even longer on workstations. No wireless connections. No DNS conflicts. Looking for paperless office assistance.

How are the folders setup for paperless office? Is everything stored in the same folder or is it setup with different folders for each module and each type of PDF files? I have found the viewer to be much slower when all the different types of PDF files are in the same folder.

What version and PU? STd or Advanced. How many PDF's are in the folder?

This is a shot in the dark, but I think the Paperless over TS still does a preview over the RDP channel via whatever redirected printer being selected (even if you're not printing). Just as a test, can you try to choose the ""Export"" option and then print, this will keep all the preview directly on the server without involving any upload bandwidth to allow the preview and see if that improves the speed?

I would ask does it really take longer on the workstations? we ran into sage taking longer to open panels on workstations, than the TS, they were a 2 user system and finally switched them from STD to ADV and it made everything run fine. We still the problem was actually IT related but we didn't have any better ideas.
