  • 1.  I've got a new client using Sage 100 Standard 4.3.

    I've got a new client using Sage 100 Standard 4.3. When they update PO receipts from a workstation PO5 is deleted and has to manually reinitialized and PO6 has to be relinked deleting all lines. When they update from the server it works fine. Only does this for PO receipts. Any ideas? TIA

    This happens on ALL workstations? Network rights issue? What OS are the WS's? Are all the patches installed? Network pathing? Very strange

    Anti-virus? Something in the back of my brain wants to think about opportunistic lock settings on the server.

    I've seen it happen on AP invoice files - it was anti-virus. It would let you delete a file but not create one.

    Thanks all! I'll ask them to change anti-virus settings and let you know if it works.

    Gene and Beth your were right. Confirmed today that Kapersky anti-virus on the workstations was causing this error. Thank You!
