I've got a good one. Upgrading a client 4.5 to 2015. Only 3rd party is JobOps. For some weird reason Credit cards do not convert. The conversion doesn't error, it just writes to the logs unable to decrypt credit card info. I sent the data off to Sage and after testing they came back and said the only way they could get the cards to convert was if they uninstalled JobOps. I've verified this as well. They believe something is interfering with the communication to the vault. I sent it off to JobOps and they said their conversion doesn't touch anything with credit cards and I've heard nothing back. Additionally, I've migrated other users with JobOps and credit cards to v2013 or higher with no problem. What gives?

Did you re-install JobOps after Data Migration and before Data Conversion? Skipping that step will cause all types of problems.

I am in the process of performing a Job Ops upgrade. I don't think I ran into issues though for the re-conversion I copied the data files only and didn't migrate.

I just heard back from JopOps. They can duplicate the issue and are having their developer work on it this week.

My upgrade is to 2015 and I just realized I did run into a funny conversion issue though mine stopped and gave an error message. Once it stopped I had to: XXX = 3 character company code 1. Data File Display and Maintenance 2. SY_Company 3. Navigate to XXX company using arrows in bottom right 4. Edit field AESEncryptionKey$ to say DELETE and save 5. Data File Display and Maintenance 6. SY_CreditCardRestart 7, Delete all records 8. Restart the conversion of data for XXX via Company Maintenance 9. No further errors noted

I did that as well as purge expired CC info from the migration copy and generate a new public key in the migration copy. I was trying to figure out if the act of uninstalling JobOps, something else happens within the data, but at this point I am going to wait and see what the developer says.
