    I've a customer, where excel export from all browses works, except employee maintenance. It's not that it fails, it is grayed out. It's only one user at this site. Sage 100 2016 PU2, with Sage Payroll Standard, Coupled with Microsoft Office Home and Business 2016 on Windows 10. I've attached an image for clarity. The blue box is enabled on my system, but gray on hers.

    Hi Patrick, it works for me in Sage 100 2017 Standard. Maybe check Alnoor's comment in this thread: https://90minds-com.socialcast.com/messages/30495238

    Does ODBC security impact this?

    Also, Check to see if Payroll Department security is turned on.
