Wondering if anyone has ever seen where items are missing in v2021 ci_item during an Upgrade which I assume occurred at time of data conversion (not sure if any of the logs would show anything). We're Upgrading from v2017 Adv to v2021.2 Prem, with Operations Mgmt (JobOps) - although Tonya at Scanco says this issue is not JobOps-related. Basically the 10 below highlighted items are missing, although the v2021 im_itemwarehouse records exist (albeit incomplete and incorrect). I'm guessing it has something to do with those huge figures in v2017 below, of which v2017 im_itewarehouse has similar bad data for these items. I also confirmed at least one sales order still exists in v2021 S/O Entry for one of the deleted items. Also after manually re-entering these 10 into v2021 Item Maint, rebuilding Sorts appears to have fixed qty buckets, but obviously not on-hand so need to fix via I/M Trans Entry. Also noticed the v2017 I/M Valuation Report appears to be getting avg unit cost from ci_item due to 'bad' figures in im_itemwarehouse.
So in an effort to prevent this from happening during the live Upgrade, we'll manually fix the live system for all these bad/HUGE figures via DFDM for the 10 items (ci_item and im_itemwarehouse). As we know this type of bad data is not completely uncommon, but this scenario is a bit puzzling.
