There was much discussion around this on Sage City when the issue first arose. In short, the free iShip service used by Sage for package tracking shut down. Sage re-coded the package tracking and released it for supported versions. This leaves those not on a supported version using scripting or a Google search. There does not seem to be any all-in-one package tracking URL that returns tracking results without displaying much advertising.
From memory, I do not think there was a way to manually change the URL that the package tracking used which is why a few people resorted to scripting as an interim solution.
A quick search for "iship" on Sage City and then sorting by most recent will return a lot of different discussions.
