Sage 100

Is this just flat out embarrassing or am I doing something wrong. Customer creates three additional check layouts. Wants them deleted. On the surface the way to do this is Report Manager. And I go in and delete them. This however does not seem to remove them from the settings lookups (or any of the other key files - ie SY_ReportSettings, SY_ReportOption, SY_LastFormUsed). Is this some sort of enormous and unchecked Sage bug? Or did I do something wrong? I'm leaning toward bug because I know the topic comes up alot.

I run into it often enough - I vote bug - I then have to use DFDM to remove them from the menu. I also have issues when reports are brought from non-legacy modules showing in report manage and they can't be deleted either

Exiting and restarting Sage MAS 90 or 200 may be required Removing User Created Form (not report) Names in Report Settings To delete the line that a user created for their form, look in the Sy_reportsetting.m4t file via DFDM. Actually, @RandyMarion , you could probably recover the cost of your developement and make a tidy little sum selling a utilty to clean up the mess. Let me know if you need beta assistance.

Well, I do not have a utility, or a fix, but will a work around do? I have been running sy_menu_ui from the launcher - you can turn menu options on and off easily this way. Unfortunately, does not actually remove anything, but it does make the menu look the way the end users want it to look, and then they pay the bill. Thats the part I always like!

As I see it, there are really two issues here. One is where there are phantom *.rpt's floating around and the other is where there are names of reports (e.g. Jeff or Acctg) that actually use a .rpt but we no longer want the name to be floating around.
