is there any way to ""reserve"" a Sage100 user license?
I have two clients that are using Sage's e-business web services to integrate with their websites. Both have run into issues when all the Sage 100 user licenses are taken up. If there is no available license the web integration fails.
They have both asked if they can somehow reserve a license for the e-business web services. Sage's answer was basically no, they need to buy enough licenses to ensure one is available.
One of the them just purchased more licenses to resolve the problem. However, it is not realistic for my other client - they have a huge number of ""potential ""users but not all of them are typically logged in.
I'm not totally up to speed on how the web services works or if it can just stay logged in somehow (like e-business manager seems to do) but if anyone has run into this and can provide some guidance, I would be thrilled.
