  • 1.  Is there a way to update both boxes 1a AND 1b when

    Is there a way to update both boxes 1a AND 1b when printing checks to vendors who have 1099-DIV as the default 1099 form type. I have a client that processes a lot of dividend payments and these are qualified dividends and the payments need to be reported in both box 1a and 1b on the 1099-DIV form.

    In Vendor Maintenance, set the default form as Dividend and set the default box as 1b. When the 1099's are printed they will appear in both boxes. Box 1b is the portion of box 1a that is a Qualified Dividend.
