    I stumbled across the announcement of new board members. Shouldn't this be more outright info???

    I think the question should be -  "Why ISN'T this more visible"?  Where is the transparency to the membership?  Perhaps like the non 90M gathering at Summit, there was a lack of interest??  But then again, maybe as FORMER board members, we just expect more from the leadership!!!

    @Therese Logeais you see the Announcements by going into the individual communities. It’s a problem in how they work. It’s on the list of issues we are looking to get resolved.

    @Robert Wood Since you mentioned it, ​​it may be valuable to the membership to have posted somewhere on HL "the list of issues we are looking to get resolved" and the status of those resolutions.

    Two thoughts:
    1. I mainly rely on emails to know what is going on, clicking links to participate in discussions.  If announcements can't have comments, perhaps an Announcement discussion might be a better strategy (vs using the HL feature...).
    2. For the specific news... why is there not an "about us" page somewhere, listing all the wonderful team members making 90-Minds run so well!

    Accessing a discussion with suggestions is not what I was suggesting. I'm looking for a specific list and the status of each. The format of the discussions where it is tedious to scroll through each comment I hope is on the list already.​

    The announcements feature was updated recently (late July 2019) by Higher Logic to allow announcements to be included in Digests for the community.  Before the update, announcements were not part of the digest, as  @Robert Wood described you'd have to access the community and review the announcements.  Under Member Centric (mobile), there is an Announcements option of the menu to view the announcements.  That option has not changed on the mobile app. 

    From this point onward, announcements for a community are now included in the digests.  Digests are sent based on member preferences.
