Is there a way to not allow sales order entry if a customer is on credit hold? I want order entry to receive the Credit Hold message, but then not allow them to proceed any further. Any ideas appreciated!

Role Maintenance, Accounts Receivable, Module Options, Uncheck Allow Credit Limit Override

If the customer is on hold and the user tries to Override during SO Entry, they will be prompted for a user name and password. When they close the user name and password box (because they don't have one), order will close and the cursor will be back at the order number field.

You will also need to use Custom Office (control F9) to hide the ""Hold"" button on the Customer Credit Limit pop up panel from those users. The user's only choices will then be either OK or DELETE.
