Is there a way to explode kit items on a SO and still have the parent item reduced in inventory? Normally when an item is exploded the component item is relieved from inventory, but in this case we would like to explode the component items so the customer see what is in the kit on the SO, but still have the parent item be relieved from inventory. Thks.

Sure John, you can manually explode it on the printed Sales Order. I'd probably use a subreport to print the components.

No, sorry. I meant manually modifying SO printing and just forcing all Kits to explode, even though we don't have the setup set that way.

If the item is a kit item, we print a subreport that lists the components of that kit. it would be a function of the print-out only.
