Is there a way to copy Work Order routings, work centers, operation codes, etc. without copying the entire WO module? Customer doesn't want any open WO's or WO history carried over into new company. @DebThomas @BethBowers ??

Does copying and renaming just the files you want not work? Or company copy and then reinitialize the transaction and history files?

Yes, if you find the files you want (I always use Reinitialize Data Files to figure it out), you can copy just them over, but you'll have to rename since the company code is part of the name in WO. Hopefully they don't want templates, since those are in the same file as open WO.

I've just copied the files and renamed with the new company code. All the data for the files you've noted are static and aren't shared with other subfolders. Templates are stored in the WO files so no option to copy there.

Thanks all. I was going to do the copy but thought there may be an easier/clean method. Now I'll just have to wait until my GTA on their server unlocks....
