Is there a utility out there to remove old warehouses? Client is on MAS200 4.3 and has a bunch of old warehouse records gumming up the inquiry screens, faced with the time consuming task of manually removing warehouses from each and every item of which there are thousands ugh!

If there is, it is worth a lot of money................ I would settle for one that just merged the transactions. I wonder if there is a way in v4.4 (not that this will help you) to do a VI to change the warehouse field to a ""merge"" warehouse. At least this would leave only one code out there.....

It gets worse. Not only is there not a utility (when history exists) but I've found that in one case after we purged out history to try to enable the removal of warehouses that there were still some total level detail in some files that we had to DFDM in order to be able to delete warehouse codes.

That was what I was afraid of - oh well - one can only hope!

Yes, I spoke with DSD, and the utility would definitely work .... if the client was on 4.4. Discussed custom programming the utility to be backward compatible. But now the warehouse issue doesn't seem quite so urgent - SHEESH!
