  • 1.  Is there a quick way to select to print AR statements by terms code?

    A customer just asked:

    Quick question do you know if I can print statements in Sage by terms code?

    For example, I would only want to electrically deliver statements with terms code 12 & 23


    Is there a way without scripting or custom office gymnastics to get the terms code to appear as a selection criteria in the main report selection grid?

    They already use the select cycle. I'm not sure what their reasoning is for going another dimension deep.

    Quick observation: Adding a parameter field doesn't prompt for the parameter when the statements are run.

    Either a form code for each set of terms criteria hardcoded into the record or group selection or a UI post load script to add the field to the selection grid.

    Wayne -

    You can add the parameter to the Crystal Report and it will prompt you AFTER you have already clicked Print.  You will need to setup the selection criteria in the Select GROUP, not Select RECORD, because Sage overwrites the Record selection on Form reports.

    They will need to leave the selection criteria on the main screen to ALL for everything, then let Crystal do the selection off the Crystal file, rather than Providex doing it off the Sage files before creating the Crystal file.
