For existing customers on current maintenance, why would they go to subscription to get the ""modern"" version unless it makes economic sense for them. Many of them that are paying $15K - $20K or more on annual maintenance would expect a deal means they pay less. If that's not happening according to Sage, then I can see many going off of maintenance and looking for other solutions. For Sage that's called ""shooting yourself in the foot"".
