Is there a list of planned enhancements for 2016 other than the Sage Ideas site? Did anyone capture screenshots during the webinar a while back where Sage shared their plans (@WayneSchulz )?

However . . . the new launcher, look and feel is what is part of 100c according to what was revealed at Summit. It has not been finalized what that means for existing customers, so be careful what you may say to the customers until Sage makes 100c terms and pricing official.

And what @JohnHoyt said. It's unclear exactly what will be available in what version. My present understanding is that the customer could stay as-is on Sage 100 2015 and not get enhancements or move to Sage 100c which is planned to be subscription only and include the 2016 enhancements. The stay as-is doesn't make sense because shortly the 2015 release would not be getting TTU, PU or payroll enhancements so it's possible I misunderstood. My sense is that Sage was taking the temperature of the users at Summit and we should hear something soon.

Subscription only"" for 100c is what was clearly stated at Summit. For new prospects this is not a problem - you want it, it's a subscription. For existing customers on current maintenance, why would they go to subscription to get the ""modern"" version unless it makes economic sense for them. Many of them that are paying $15K - $20K or more on annual maintenance would expect a deal means they pay less. If that's not happening according to Sage, then I can see many going off of maintenance and looking for other solutions. For Sage that's called ""shooting yourself in the foot"".

If the only thing keeping you on $15-20k annual maintenance is TTU, then outsourcing payroll looks better. If M$ is going to keep Windows on Windows 10 with incremental upgrades going forward then OS compatibility won't be an issue. The speeches may be different, and he's not afraid to actually go mix with the peasants occasionally, but the actions tell me Kelly is just another greedy bastard not looking much beyond next quarter's bonus.

Most of my $10k maintenance customers are on the plan because it is decidedly cheaper for them than other options (See Sage's failed SAP implementation). Where I see the most attrition is: a. Niche businesses: Construction, MFG moving to industry specific b. Acquisitions (customer out of business/sells business) c. Drop maintenance takes chances So far very little ""we are dropping Sage and going to a SaaS multi-tenant"". I believe cloud is capturing some portion of the new deals. Most existing users run the spreadsheet on hosting and unless they have a compelling reason to hand over their processing they conclude that financial the hosted Sage is more expensive and as a result do nothing or defer.
