  • 1.  Is there a front end procedure for changing the Y2

    Is there a front end procedure for changing the Y2K Default Year? (on 3.71 if was in Preferences). The fiels is contained in SY_System.M4T Field #37 [30], but I cannot locate any screen or utility which allows me to change it except through Data File Display and Maintenance.

    Could it get set somehow from Windows?

    The Sage 100 Library Master Date is set automatically from Windows. This is related to when you enter a two digit year, which Century the date defaults to. For example a date like 10/10/31 it displays as 10/10/1931. In MAS 3.71 it was controlled or set in File/Preferences. But I cannot find a place to reset the field (from Default 30) in the MAS front end.

    I want to say this came up before and Sage did take that way and the date is somehow keyed to Windows. Maybe Beth had this?
