Is there a custom office script that can be written so that when a certain customer is assigned to a sales order that a ""message"" can pop up requiring the user to enter a password in order to continue with the entering/accessing of the sales order?

What if you just put that Customer on Credit Hold, and set Role Maint accordingly?

@BrettZimmerman is there a combination that will prevent a Sales Order from being entered for a customer on Credit Hold? We can prevent one from being invoiced but client wants users stopped from entering new orders.

@BrettLyder, uncheck the ""Allow Credit Limit Override"" setting in Role Maint>Module Options>A/R. The user will then only be able to enter the order if they (1) click the Override button (and enter the 'override' logon credentials) or (2) click the Hold button. If you don't want users to even be able to put the order On Hold, hide the Hold button via CO.
