Is the TTU supposed to update the FICA wages limit? The 2012 TTU appears to leave the limit at the 2011 limit $106,800. My understanding is it is supposed to be $110,000 for 2012.

It's been updating every time I've installed. They released an updated TTU Dec 23rd.

I've done a couple and both were updated - I have not done anything with the 12/30 TTU so perhaps Sage may have an issue on that TTU?

Installed the latest one today and it changed the limit to 110,100.

maybe I jumped the gun on the TTU? did they issue a second one?

I've had one client report that theirs did not update. It updated on my 4.50, client was on 4.40, I believe. Client and I used the same TTU.

I downloaded the original version on the 21st. They fixed it on the 23rd and then produced another one on the 30th. The latest version of the TTU works as y'all have noted.

The TTU on 12/30 included changes for Michigan, Missouri, NY and Puerto Rico which were'nt in the 12/23 TTU. 12/23 had FED changes that everyone would need.

I just had this happen with a client where the FICA limit didn't update. Turned out the ""Exclude this Table from Tax Update"" box was checked for FED. Maybe this is the problem with yours.

Jane - I just updated the new TTU on another system today and sure enough, they had the exclude box checked on the FED table! Had to uncheck and reload.

I'm glad that worked for you. It's amazing how one little check box can screw up things!
