Sage 100

A client is about to become publicly traded said that they thought that since Sage 100 has the employees bank info, etc in the ACH file that it would not be Sarbanes Oxley compliant.  Has anyone dealt with this before with any clients?

I'm checking into the Sage Direct Deposit Service to see if that would be complaint.

While I don't know the answer, I did have a conversation with Linda Cade about Direct Deposit and specifically the one that was offered as a service ( as opposed to the legacy DD which kicks out a file which you then upload ). She indicated that the payroll company Sage sold was the one operating the automated DD service.

I don't know if that means the automated DD will go away or whether Sage might make some other change in the DD area ( new provider ) 

Just an FYI. The sale of the payroll service may make obtaining info from Sage even more difficult
