Is it possible to designate a kit as Discontinued? 4.5, BM not installed. I don't see how, and marking components as discontinued does not force the warning message to display during Sales Order entry.

How about making it inactive?

Tried that, but you can't sell an inactive item... and they want to continue selling remaining stock.

How about a memo that displays in SO entry indicating it is discontinued? (I know, people click through them rather rapidly but it's a shot.)

Are the items built as a kit or are you trying to sell the components?

I think @ThereseLogeais is a very workable idea then.

delete the records out of kit maintenance and not make it a kit anymore.

@JohnnyPabian I need the kit until all components are sold.
