Is it possible to delete bank codes? Can bank code A be deleted? Have a customer add bank code D and wants a,b,c gone.

I've removed blank BC records through DFDM, so not sure why you couldn't delete them.

I thought A was the default code and could not be removed.

I tried searching the portal but sadly on mobile using iOS/Safari I only get one page of results. There was nothing in those results.

You're right Jeff, the business object prevents you from deleting the ""A"" bank.

How about trying to filter the ALE lookup to only show D. But that probably doesn't get you far enough I'm guessing.

While we are on the subject, how about an ""inactive bank code"" enhancement by Sage. We had to do this on a custom basis, but it would be a nice addition as many customers want to keep the bank code and its data, but not allow it to be used...

Wayne it's not as pervasive as Inactive Warehouses was but not a quick win either. There are several places to modify the logic but even more QA scenarios to test. Having said that, I say run it by Diane Coffman anyway as quick win proposal.
