Is it not possible to print packing lists to paperless?? Customer wants a way to reprint them and asked if they could print them to PDF through paperless. I don't see the option. Am I missing something?

That's funny - today I had someone wanting to email them. SAAAAAGGGGGGEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I get the reasoning. They're packing lists and are supposed to be INCLUDED in the package but how difficult would it be to make it an option?

4/27/09 - From the way back machine....... Ted Levy from SWK shared with me. This may or may not work. YMMV... Paperless Print Settings. To modify report so that it launches paperless printing, modify field 18 in SY_Task.m4t. Journals/Registers 1 Report Viewer 5 Period End 6 Invoice Printing 2 What is interesting is that in the SY_Task.m4t table, there is a form call SO_packiglistfromhist_UI. The name seems to imply that there is a program somewhere that you CAN print a packing list from history. Maybe someone intimate with the inner workings of Sage can explain...... A final thought would be to create a new invoice form that pulls from history that looks like a packing sheet.

Well I couldn't resist so went looking. You can reprint packing lists from history (which I didn't realize). Although it doesn't appear that you can e-mail them (from looking at the panel), you could save to a PDF, then email from there. Slow and steady wins the race....

KnowledgeSync could email them...and packing lists get sent by EDI, so Sage's logic is faulty

@ThereseLogeais - perhaps you could make a sales order form into a packing slip and email that.

It appears you CAN reprint packing lists thanks to @JeffSchwenk's post yesterday (see a few posts above). Customer's response was, ""AWESOME!!!"" Thanks again, Jeff!

Learn something new every day. I didn't realize you could reprint either until @ThereseLogeais started this thread. Just trying to pay forward for all the assistance I have received here over the years.
