Is it a blanket fact that if you are accessing Sales Order from CRM, any BOI scripting does not work?

CRM is not actually opening the screen and manipulating it. So any events in the script that fire on such operator events will never get triggered.

So the script from Sage that defaults the expiration date of a quote wouldn't work?

If they are on Premium you could do it with a trigger on the database.

Hmmm... I discussed this with Alnoor last year and I think the answer is ""it depends."" If you are popping the Sage 100 screens, I think the scripting does work. Truthfully that conversation was awhile ago and my tired old brain doesn't remember things like it used to so I would suggest we ask @AlnoorCassim - the Scripting Guru - directly.

@BethBowers I have scripts that @AlnoorCassim did in SO that work even when they are creating the orders through CRM. So not sure why the expiration date isn't working. What version are you working with? My client is on 4.50

The client was ASKING for this and I didn't want to promise it to them if it wasn't going to work. So have not tried it at the client site yet. Just trying to cover my ass prior to getting it shot off...
