Is everyone available for a brief conference call of about 30 minutes this Wed 9/10/14 at 2pm ET to talk about Sage? Jim and I had a phone conversation with Deborah Nelson and Mike Ritchie (Erik Kaas replacement) VP of Sage 100, 300 and Sage 100 Contractor. Sage has expressed interest in working closer with the group. Some of this we all spoke to them about at Summit. Specifically I think they'd be open to a number of possibilities ranging from just a simple 1 or 2 hour presentation on Sage 100 Road Ahead at MOTM to a possible collaboration that might resemble more of a BPAC-like relationship. The questions are: a. Do we want to pursued this? b. Should we approach Sage about becoming a paid publisher member - and if so what benefits would we offer for how much At this point I really don't know if Sage is even open to becoming a publisher member. And I'm unsure whether we are open to having them on a paid basis. I think it would be helpful to have a conversation prior to our getting further involved with Sage so we are all clear on what level we'd like to have 90 Minds interact with Sage. Yes - I anticipated that we'd want to devote our attention to Sage and not have it be part of the regular admin call. We would still have our regular admin meeting.

I have a commitment then. It is only about a 30 minute meeting so if we can make it 2:30 ET, I could make it.

Since it appears we are all busy I will cut to the chase. Sage has some interest - amount undetermined - of working with the 90 Minds Group. In a nutshell I believe they would be open to treating the group as a type of BPAC (subject to NDA as well as working closer with our members - presentations at MOTM, etc. The question for the Admin team: 1. What is the appropriate level of access 2. What is the fee (if any) Peter and I have talked and essentially think we could consider three levels: A. FREE I think we have to do this as Sage is a major part of everyone's business. For free we'd allow Sage to present (on a topic we choose) at MOTM - then they leave. Nobody sticks around from Sage. Periodically we do webinars for our group on matters that we deem important. B. Sponsorship - Small All of above but Sage sends people to MOTM, has more regularly scheduled webinars with which we participate on a more active level. C. Sponsorship - Large All of above plus we revamp our community to include an area that we could invite Sage to. In absolutely no case would they be able to read any prior messages. That's not up for consideration. Absent a consensus of the admin group I will treat future Sage conversations as if the only option available to them is the (A) level of free and we'd invite them to MOTM to present on a topic of our choosing and invite to present webinar(s) of our choosing.
