Is customer certification new or was it always around but buried somewhere in the SageU site? It looks like in 45 minutes customers can sit for some type of certification. I'm not sure whether it gives them any benefits throughout the year or if it's just a gimmick to draw people to the conference. Have you seen customer certification exams before?

Looks new for Summit but I remember seeing cert's available for anyone willing to pay for it on SageU.

Certify the customers and less need for the channel? We know that's not true, but there are those at Sage that don't seem to think before they roll out these ideas. #100c

Sage made this official in a blog post on Sage City which links to this PDF with more information about the certifications. It seems that Sage is trying to offers some of their sessions during Summit as ""Cert Prep"" so customers would attend the sessions in advance of attempting the certification. http://sageu.com/cod/pdf/SageU_FSCertOverview_SageSummit.pdf
