    I have a client asking if I can script an Avalara alternative for them using the TaxJar API (link below). After all the Avalara debacles I'm not going there, but talk to me if you are interested.

    I don't doubt that this could be done in scripting or some combination of button script, UDS and BOI, but the real question is, as with most software, who will support such a critical component? As a one man show that has a life outside of ERP, I would have to partner with one or more others to do that. Which says nothing of trying to protect something written in an open source like VBScript.

    This customer has experienced huge fee increases from Avalara and the support for their questions is almost non existent so they are trying to wean themselves from Avalara.

    Did anyone get Tax Jar API working with Sage 100? My client doesn't want to do Avalara and after my last implementation with them, I'm not pushing. They use Tax Jar on their website, but its causing issues when importing into Sage.
