Is anyone else wondering why the new Sage Enterpri

Is anyone else wondering why the new Sage Enterprise Intelligence is for Sage X3, Sage 300 and Sage 500, but not for Sage 100?

All of the Sage 100 programmers are busy upgrading job cost and payroll to framework.

I may be wrong but isn't Sage Enterprise Intelligence a third party re-labeled product?

I believe Sage is the manufacturer Wayne. http://go.na.sage.com/ERP_2014_Q4_IB_EnterpriseIntelligence The reason 100 was excluded could be because 300, 500 , and X3 all exclusively use a SQL DB. Since this seems to be a data mining tool, it may be specific to SQL. There may not be enough 100 Premium users to justify the effort.... speculation..... and customers continue to fork over annual maintenance and get passed over when product investment is necessary.

Perhaps they should license the DSD SQL mirror product and bundle this with the Enterprise package...

I propose that we, the 90 Minds Group propose purchasing Sage 100. We can collect the maintenance and annual partner fees.

@DougHiggs - see this ZDNET article - they claim Sage Enterprise Intelligence is white labeled from a 3rd party. Sage ERP X3 also utilizes Sage Enterprise Intelligence, a Business Intelligence tool for the ERP data from which users can produce reports, queries and analytics. This product actually was developed by a third-party firm and white-labelled via Sage. This BI data is accessible via mobile devices to authorized users anywhere and any time they want it. For any ERP user who can't get data access outside of their facility or only via clunky dial-in server access, this is how data should be served. http://www.zdnet.com/sages-up-market-solution-is-x3-ready-for-north-american-market-7000032946/

Looks as if Sage Enterprise Intelligence is a white label of one of Tangerine Software's products - http://www.tangerinesoftware.com/home.php

And to answer @MadelineStefanou question - I think Tangerine is a Canadian developer so they probably have a lot of exposure to 300. Not sure how they added 500 but maybe due to the product being more ""up market"" and open to a higher priced BI tool?
