    is anyone aware of Sage 100 documentation related to what PII is encrypted. 

    I have a very large client that has been hacked (not just ransomware apparently). they are on Sage 100 version 2023 Premium. They are trying to assess what Sage 100 data might have been exposed. I know SS#, bank accounts and such are all encrypted. 

    My next step is to start looking on Sage KB to see what I can find. I am wondering if anyone has something handy.

    @David Overholt - wouldn't it be the fields that are in the PII work files?

    Agreed, I can get him a list of al the fields, he was asking for (but not demanding) any official documentation from Sage 100.

     

    And so far I am not seeing much on the KB, and I don't have access to sales documentation. I can ask our sales team if they can find anything.

    File Layouts of the PIIWrk tables should give a good list... everything except for the key field should be encrypted in the normal table.

    I have forwarded the field lists from the three PII tables (AP, GL, and PR) to the client. If anyone has any other suggestions, let me know.

    Yes, I loved that the attached document was from Homeland Security dated in 2012.  I did not forward that to the client.
