    is anyone aware of a Third-Party add-on that allows for flexible salesperson commission reporting. I have a client that uses Job Cost module and would like to be able to pay commissions based on different job types, the add-on would not have to specifically be tied to the Job Cost / Job Type field, but they are looking for something that would allow them to pay commissions where some are based on paid invoices others perhaps on milestone billings and others based on tiered gross profit percentages.  I'm not aware of any Third-party add-ons for commission tracking or calculations.so I thought I would reach out here before trying to create some sort of scripting or reporting nightmare.

    Do you have in mind a solution that writes the commission to the salesman commission table or one that looks at a range of invoices and generates a report?

    Great question, but I think reporting would be sufficient for this client but posting it to commission table might be an added bonus. Their jobs can range from simple and/or repetitive to Complex jobs that take months to complete,  They may want to have a multitude of ways to calculate that commission and I think they don't want to have to call us and spend time editing or creating new Crystal reports if they want to have special handling on some jobs.

    Usually to round number "starts at" quote is very good at calming client expectations. Commissions are a tricky area because there is a seemingly infinite way to compute commission.
