    We are an ACT! reseller. The ""NEW"" ACT! (don't leave out the exclamation point) has come up with a unique idea for selling support. Instead of releasing new features in a new version, say version 2013 to Version 2014 once per year, for those users on support, new features are going to be released as they are created. This way the users will have the advantage of using the new feature right now rather than waiting until a new Version is released in September. The problem selling support has been perception. A one user ACT! Pro Silver support customer pays $157 per year, while a 10 user support plan, reduced to $141 per license pays $1410 per year for the same support. We constantly get questioned as to why the customer can't purchase support for one license and then buy the other nine without. While we are used to this kind of pricing as Sage 100 ""Partners"", ACT! users don't think the same way. This new way of releasing new features may change that depending on the quality of the new features. Swiftpage is a marketing company and I sense the initial Dealer atmosphere so far is very positive.
