Interesting issue that we ran into with MAS 200 SQL 4.45, a customer created several custom Crystal reports and added them to the Custom Reports menu. Some of the reports prompted for a user id and password every time they ran them and others did not. The culprit was dynamic parameters. We changed those parameters back to static and the problem went away. I haven't tried to duplicate it in 4.5 SQL but I'd be willing to bet it's exactly the same.

    Apparently, it's unknown to Sage.

I just had the same thing happen on MAS 200 EES 1.4, so I changed the parameters back to static.

Perhaps they should read The Community notes more closely. Dan Burleson has posted on the topic several times as have others. One would think Dynamic Parameters would work using the runtime version of Crystal but it hurls everytime.

Actually, these reports were working just fine using dynamic parameters and the Crystal runtime. The problem only occurred with workstation that had Crystal installed on them.

Interesting. A different twist. Maybe Dan will post his thoughts.

Another problem I was having was the dynamic parameter was not pulling all of the data to select from for some reason.
