Interesting - here's how Thriveal (a CPA membership group) segments one level of their memberships

Love the layout and very brief but to the point explanations of levels.

Several interesting things including ... it's menu pricing which Ron / Ed frown upon. I'm going to reach out to Jason to ask what ""Unlimited Service"" means. It's somewhat counter-intuitive. If 10 people have the Artisan package, unlimited means something different than if 1 person has it.

Menu pricing probably has no place when you are one-to-one. However in situations where someone asks ""what's it cost"" and -- as with membership -- there's really no significant pre-qualifying -- I think the menu works well. Unless you enjoy talking to people and repeating the same things over and over -- it's best to have a short and sweet FAQ type document about what options are available. What I would not do is break the three main options down further and offer an a la carte so if someone wanted just Yammer they could join and pay even less...

    Good points.

Their lowest level fee strikes me as too low and they seem to have overlapping features -- LinkedIn page, Social Innovation Platform, Yammer. These all seem like they're pretty similar.

And I agree on the feature overlap. Some of the different vehicles seem to serve similar purposes.

Yes. I emailed Jason and suggested that all their fees are too low. Including the top level. Unlimited access for $300 per month? Crazy.

I would make the lowest level be $100 per month. Someone looking to join a group such as his that does not have $100 to pony up is probably not going to be a contributing member. Maybe make is $1,000 per year ppd / $ 100 per month.
