Interesting experience with Sage 100 Premium today. I added 3 UDF's to the Customer Master file for a customer. I then added the UDF's to the Main panel in Customer Maintenance. All went as expected. Last, I went to add the new columns to the customer sales analysis report. I couldn't; the UDF's did not show up in Crystal. I eventually went to the SQL table definition and low and behold, the columns weren't there. I went back to Sage 100 and they show up in Customizer. I tried entering data into one of UDFs in Customer Maintenance and got an IO Error. It turns out that the customer had table replication turned on in SQL Server. This prevents changes to table definitions while replication is turned on and blocked Sage 100 from adding the columns to the table. I DID NOT GET ANY WARNINGS OR ERRORS FROM SAGE 100 WHEN CREATING THE UDF'S! We turned the replication off and then I edited the description on one of the UDF's. When I saved the changes, the columns were created in SQL and all Gods children were happy again. This is warning so you don't go over the same hill I did and find a group of very unhappy Native Americans waiting to express their grievances. Make sure database replication is turned when adding UDF's to Sage 100 Premium. (This is probably documented in some esoteric manual but I didn't find it that way unfortunately.)

Thanks @ShawnSlavin - it's probably in the installation guide concerning the SQL setup requirements, but knowing the cause and effect of it will help us recognize the issue more quickly if we run into it somewhere. Like when clients setup their own SQL server and don't follow Sage documentation.
