    Interesting? Depressing?

At least they told you in advance that things weren't moving as anticipated. What do your inside sources have to say?

Same as the outside sources. We're all screwed. Nice knowing you all.

@PeterWolf , do you do much with Accpac? I thought you were mostly SageCRM?

I was an Accpac reseller for 15 years before starting Azamba in 2007 to focus on Sage CRM. Most of our business is Sage CRM but I still have a few (I think 3 or 4) Accpac customers on the roster. They are all pretty close / friendly customers so I haven't shoo-ed them away.

I am not positive on timeline but thought this was being discussed at Summit this year (the delay). Basically Sage did a big sell job on this. I saw the demo 2 years ago when it was supposedly ready -- and my initial (and still) comment was that Accpac at the time was on a similar lengthy road as MAS90 was in terms of upgrading their product.

Isn't the SData interface where all of Sage's products supposed to be heading?

Yes - SData is the future. Accpac already supports it so I really don't get this announcement. I'm not doing a lot with Accpac so I'm not up on all the latest - I'm sure I'm missing something here.

The first sign of trouble was when they released version 6.0 and said its new web interface could only be used on intranets, not over the internet. On the plus side, at last Sage is not repeating what they did with the MAS 90/200 4.1 release...
