Interested in co-hosting with Acutity Soltuions (or at least markting) an Alnoor's Intro to Scripting Class? It would be held in Vegas around October. Nicholas Webb approached me as they have a new hire that needs to take Alnoor's class. One option, we could leave all the arrangements up to Acutiy and just provide the link in Socialcast to register for the class.

Can it be rolled out as our 1st 90minds academy class?

No, the 90 Minds Academy is product agnostic. Alnoor's scripting class is only for Sage 100, *edit* The point of the academy is to give much needed skills NOT taught in college or by the ERP/ISV firms. We fill the gaps without being product specific, that's the beauty of the program, anyone could attend and everyone would get something out of it.

I think some involvement would be good. But I don't want to get involved setting up the meeting room, food, etc. If Acuity/Alnoor would like, we could promote the event, even set up an Eventbrite page for registration and forward the net proceeds to Acuity to handle the distribution. We could (but not necessarily) ask for a handling fee. Nicholas would be the boots on the ground for everything.

Okay, one other thought - is this competition for MOTM for those that have budget to attend only one event/year?

Depends on which level you are thinking. Didn't we discuss preconference events last week and we specifically discussed that wasn't an overwhelming need for another scripting class? So if we aren't offering the class, how would this be a competition for MOTM funding? Maybe we should pitch this Vegas class as the Intro class and we offer an Intermediate/Advanced for MOTM?

I think Jeff has it right. Promote it within the group, take minimal $$ off it, and see how it goes. I don't think it significantly cannibalizes MOTM; among other reasons, it's a different budget year.
