  • 1.  Integration with CCC Software?

    Posted 09-25-2025 15:46

We have a prospect who called Sage to see if Sage 100 is integrated with their automobile collision software, which is called CCC.  Whoever they spoke with at Sage assured the prospect that indeed there is an integration between Sage 100 and CCC.  CCC handles all of the inventory and parts involved as a result of a collision, but they need those parts to go into Sage 100 Job Cost as they are used. The only reason the prospect would change software and move away from QuickBooks is if indeed that integration is available.  Just checking with my fellow resellers to see if anyone has ever had any experience with CCC and how it might integrate with Sage 100.  (I'm thinking whoever answered the phone at Sage was told to always say "Yes!" to whatever question the prospect asked, and this would be one of those...)

I have never heard of an integration for this add on product.  I also don't see any reference to it integrating with Sage 100 on the CCC Website.  If it does actually have a pre-defined integration, let us know.

Thanks, Madeline - I too looked on their website and didn't see anything.  Pretty sure it was just the standard answer by Sage of "Of course we can do that!".  Which kinda makes sense - they want to make sure the client gets to a reseller and the reseller can ferret it out.

Yeah... VI + ODBC = "integration".

I prefer the answer to be Yes and get the lead to us to find out what the prospect really needs.

"CCC" sounds like "CC" which translates to "credit card". Some of these reps are a hoot!

Seriously, you should check with DSD. They are pressing the gas pedal on their ROI acquisition. Bob Richter might be aware of something.

How much pain does this lack of integration cause the prospect? The project would take at least 3 phases: Feasibility/functionality/scope, Draft/POC, final implementation, testing, support. Probably $30k or more, with half that in the first phase. In the scheme of things, that's not huge, but if they're still on QB, paying for accounting-related systems is not in their DNA. But if they think progressively, it could really change their business and bottom line.

Thanks Jerry - their entire reason for looking for another system was to find a system for financials that would integrate "fully" with their CCC Program.  (You though of Credit Card, and I thought of Civilian Conservation Core - only because my hometown has that stamped on almost every sidewalk in town!)  And I think money is indeed going to be an issue for them, but we'll still chase them and see what we can find out.

Hi @Sue Bennett, I believe CCC1 has an integration with Sage BusinessWorks via BWACCESS.  We had an auto repair customer using BW, and they also used CCC1.  However, I don't believe they used the Job Cost module.  CCC1 was their operations software, and it handled everything except for financials.  Our customer imported Customers, Vendors, Invoices, Adjustments, Credits and Receipts into BW and then used BW for GL and Cash Management.

They migrated to Acumatica, and we were able to duplicate the import functions.  They were able to export the data from CCC1 into various source files that we were able to import into Acumatica.  I think you could probably do the same with Sage 100 using VI.

Thank you @Brian Kelly!  I thought we could use VI but the prospect kept telling our sales guy that there was already an integration according to Sage.  Makes sense now!

Yes, SAGE is a fuzzy word.  Which Sage are you referring to?
