Sage 100

Installing Sage 100 Adv v2017 workstation client. Getting fatal error installing the status.flp file. See attached KB which is exactly the problem but the fix doesn't work. Anyone have any insight for solution? installing as administrator, UAC is off, can't get the AV to shut off, running as the admin. Have installed all other workstation clients without issue.

What did security look like prior to changing in the registry? Did you have to change the user you are using to a local administrator? If so, did you take the precaution of rebooting prior to any other changes including the registry security change?

Baffling. The EVERYONE user was there from working on it a month ago. Logged on workstation as the network administrator (SOP for all other WS installs that DID go smoothly) Computer has been rebooted. I told client that he would have to call the Sage gods for tech support.

Epilogue - Sage tech support handled it although it took two of them. Client was bewildered as to what happened. If only Sage would give us access to client support notes.
