  • 1.  Installed PU10 on v2019 Advanced. Now Sage workstation won't start

    2018, not 2019!

    Logged in as admin.  Installed PU10 & LM6030-T.  When launched workstation both on server and on a workstation, it runs the sync, then hangs.  Things I have done:

    Rebooted server.  Renamed SY_Workstation, sy_console, sessions.pvk, locate.pvk.  Renamed ..\Documents\Sage199 folder.

    Also tried launching MAS90 mode.

    Any other ideas?

    Make sure IT hasn't disabled VBScripts... because that is how the workstation synch works.

    UAC off (registry edit of EnableLUA value... set to zero, with reboot) sometimes helps.

    If after trying Kevin's recommendations it still hangs, I would turn off uac then reinstall workstation setup.  Install to a new folder.

    As we continued on, we determined that we needed to replace the SY_SagePEP & SY_SagePEPTasks files.  Now it launches.
