    Had a customer call who was having issues with a BOM component requirement report. She reports that the sub-assembly components - beyond the first level on a BOM - weren't showing on her report.

    I went to the Component Requirement Report - Indented - and it did seem to incorrectly report quantities for subassemblies.
    If I run the report summarized it seems ok ( though I couldn't check every component as they have several subassemblies )

    Subsequently, I found this report in the Sage KB - it was originally published in 2016 and shows last updated July 5 2021 ( though that could have just been a routine DB maintenance change ).

    Resolution
    Sage Engineering is currently reviewing this issue



    Is this still an issue with BOM Component Requirement Report?
    Any workaround ( aside from using either single level or summarized version of the component requirement report?

    Isn't this recalculated when running rebuild sort files for BM?

    I tried that and it didn’t seem to work.

    It looks as if the report runs “indented” ok if I put in a quantity of more than 1 but It’s difficult to know for sure just by glancing at it because of multiple sub assemblies
