They work fine here in Canada, after some growing pains. We've used them routinely for years.

My jaw almost hit the floor in NOLA when asked to sign for dinner with a manual CC receipt on carbon paper. I thought I had time traveled back to the 90's, which is about how long since I've seen that here.
