In Starship, client is getting ""Writeback Failed: [XXXXXXX] Unable to locate a record."" (The XXXXXXXX would be the SO #.) Starship can read and process the invoice, just not write back the freight or tracking info. Both the invoice and SO does exist. We went live Monday morning and it was working until ~3pm. They are using the BOI interface with ""Invoice."" Getting this message on both the shipping machine and the Sage/Starship server. Shipping station opened UPS Worldship about 3pm, so I had them close everything, and reboot and reopen Sage/Starship. Again, getting same issue on Server signed on as administrator with full Sage and starship rights. I was working on freight rules around that time, too. It's on every shipment. Sage 2014, Starship 17.0. Starship says they never saw this issue. Their IT person, who was there around 3pm, said he didn't do anything on that server. I'll be rebooting the server tonight, not expecting that to fix anything. Thanks, Roberta

Roberta, we had the same exact message last week and Starship support told us how to fix it. Its weird that now they say they have never seen it. For some reason Starship created a 2nd (duplicate) ""Interface"". On the workstation, Go to Setup / Source Interface / Select the Interface you are using / Select Customize Interface. You will probably see 2 Interfaces (usually called ""My Interface""). Delete the second one and restart Starship on the workstation. No need to do anything on the server. I hope that solves your problem, it did for us.

Thanks for responding (Greg, too). There's only one ""my interface"" with 3 options--SO, Customer, Invoice. We're using the Invoice one. We even tried it with an out of the box interface without luck. I installed the MIFS this afternoon, as per Starship (well, it's something...) and will reboot tonight. I'll post if I have any success.

I did two things last night and it's working today, so not sure which one fixed it. I installed the MIFS program. Starship tells me that helps with communications issues, and then old standby: I rebooted the server. Thank you, everyone!
