In Sales Order is there a way to make a workstation default to a particular salesperson? I know that you can set salesperson by customer but can you set up a default salesperson for a particular login or workstation? Any help would be appreciated.

I just needed to do this too. I just used a script to set the salesperson.

I'm pretty sure it would need to be a script.

The Defaults box is workstation/user specific. You can set the default SP in this panel.

oops hit send too soon, won't the customer salesperson overwrite that field level default?

@BrettLyder I thought the same thing, but it doesn't work that way in my Sage100 v4.5. The default SP sticks.

It's the button in the upper right area of the SO Entry screen. It says Defaults.

@MichaelNottoli & @RobertWood , I just tested that for Sage 100 2013 and that default setting appears to be workstation specific and will work perfectly for what my client needs.
