In reviewing a post on LinkedIn, I realized that Mike Giovanello, who was a senior Sales Operations Specialist in Irvine, had been at Sage for 25 years 3 months - probably his only job after college. I never met Mike in person, but he was always very helpful. I know Sage has lost a great deal of knowledge and experience that cannot be replaced and, of course, the channel suffers. Although I'm sure those people had a generous severance offer, it still seems callous and disrespectful on Sage's part.

I also just received an auto-response e-mail from Ashley Nielsen, another Sales Operations Specialists in Irvine. Her last day is April 14th - a sad situation - for Sage. She is the most capable person and understands pricing and the complex rules more than anyone else at Sage. She trained the idiots they have in Atlanta, but she didn't have much to work with there. Ashley will find another opportunity and excel there also.

Mike was the best! Always knew the answer and got back to you right away. Big loss for Sage!!!

I wonder how Sage stops the bleeding at this point. Very sad.

Sage seems to show interest in AI. Perhaps robots are the future for sales advisors.
