    In case you run into an instance where you are trying to update Sage Exchange Desktop and it keeps failing - here's what seems to work. 1. If you try to get at this update from the taskbar I have seen multiple instances where it appears to start updating then eventually fails. What @MoiraGoggin suggested and what I think works is once you get that ""failed"" message shut down SED from the task bar. Then go into the launcher and manually start the Sage Exchange Desktop. On most systems, this is in a folder ""Sage Payment Solutions"".     The website for Paya gives the same overall instructions however I think that I am logged in as Administrator when I try these updates and it still fails. https://support.paya.com/44510-knowledgebase/322670-sage-exchange-desktop-update-starting-june-19-2018
