Sage 100 Shortlist for the Week:
- Nice summary of how Sage 100 determines which default printer to use for forms - STANDARD forms always revert to system default printer settings (no memory). Custom forms remember the last printer and settings, but only after an actual Print (not a Preview). Settings are stored in SY_ReportSetting.m4t with related entries in SY_LastFormUsed.
- Sage 100 2026 is 64-bit only. Will not install on 32-bit Windows and will not coexist with a 32-bit Sage 100 on the same machine. Run the 32_64_Bit_Switch_Utility before upgrading.
- Sage 100 supported versions are now 2026 (7.5), 2025 (7.4), and 2024 (7.3). Version 2023 (7.2) is retired with the 2026 release.
- Sage consolidated the Standard, Advanced, and Premium Supported Platforms Matrix documents into a single SPM starting with version 2026.
- Sage Intelligence Unlimited Plan retired on subscription. Going forward, Sage Intelligence will be billed per user under Sage 100 and Sage 300 subscription plans. Capabilities are unchanged. Sage or the Sage Business Partner will contact customers to size user counts.

Sage Community Discussions of Note:
- Sage Community thread asks which third-party payroll services integrate cleanly with Sage 100 Job Cost. Workforce Go drew the strongest recommendation for its bi-directional Sage 100 interface, reportedly around $7,000 per year for a 90-employee company. Miter HR was suggested for field crews needing job-specific clock in/out (requires a small third-party piece for GL and Job Cost data). ADP Workforce Now and Sage Payroll also mentioned.
